Title: Cabbage Patch Stew

1lbGround chuck
1mdOnion, diced
1/2cDiced celery
1/4cDiced green pepper, optional
16ozCan stewed tomatoes
10 3/4ozCan tomato soup
2cWater
1 1/2cCoarsely chopped cabbage
1tsSalt
1tsChili powder, to taste
1tbBrown sugar

Cook and stir ground chuck in Dutch oven until light brown. Add onion, celery and green pepper; cook several minutes. Stir in stewed tomatoes, soup, water, cabbage, salt, pepper, chili powder and brown sugar. Heat to boiling. Reduce and simmer until cabbage is tender. Serves 6.
